Toys For Tots
Toys for Tots (TFT) was founded in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks, who saw a need to establish a means to distribute donated toys to kids in need. In 1981 a formal organization was set up under the US Marine Corp, and has been headed by such notables as Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush. In the spirit of giving, the Oilmen’s Club has adopted TFT as their charity of choice during the Christmas giving season. More can be seen at www.toysfortots.org.
